CarBit ELM327 OBD2 3.6.1

The car diagnostics application allows users to display data from various electronic vehicle blocks using the ELM327 OBDII adapter. It also provides real-time graphical representation of the data and allows users to save and view it later. Additionally, the application shows and resets engine fault codes and DTC trouble codes.

Users have the option to configure the minimum and maximum values for each sensor/PID, which will trigger an "alarm" when reached.

The application supports Bluetooth ELM327 and Wi-Fi ELM327 OBD adapters. It is advisable to use adapters V1.5 as there have been complaints about incorrect work with V2.1 adapters.

ELM327 chips only work with cars that have OBD2 support:

• Cars manufactured in the USA since 1996
• Cars manufactured in European countries since 2001 for gasoline cars and since 2003 for diesel cars
• Cars manufactured in Japan since approximately 2000

In addition to standard OBDII parameters, the application supports special parameters for various car brands:

• BMW - (DIESEL, E91+AT)
• BYD - (MT20U, ABS)
• Chery - (MT20U, MT20U2, ActecoME797)
• ... (other car brands and their supported options are listed here)

Please note that not all PIDs from the list for a certain car brand may be supported by your car. In the "Settings / PID types" section, you can conveniently select the types of PIDs required.

For certain car brands (such as some Mitsubishi models), the application allows for controlling various systems, such as turning on a cooling fan or a gasoline pump.

To read MUT parameters and control actuators on Mitsubishi models with CAN bus (such as Montero/Pajero IV and Outlander 2), users need to create a profile with the ISO 9141-2 protocol. For reading CAN parameters, the remaining profiles should use the ISO 15765-4 CAN (11bit 500K) protocol or set it to automatic. However, please note that not all Mitsubishi CAN-bus models support ISO 9141-2 connectivity.
